Course: Designing Interactive Experiences

Project: Installation Art and Research Paper

Date: 2025 College FM

Timeline: Two Weeks

Background: Designing Interactive Experiences was my first introduction to the field of experience design, which has since become my degree concentration.

Objective: Design an interactive installation art piece that could be put on campus, and write an essay researching a designer from whom the piece takes inspiration.

Product: To create this project, I drew inspiration from the work of Matter Studios and Brandon Clifford. For the installation portion of the project, I designed a large-scale collaborative puzzle inspired by the Inca masonry referenced by much of Matter Studios' work. The goal of this puzzle was to push students to interact with each other in an often underutilized space on campus.
